Eurofins E&E CML is offering a 20% discount off their online training courses for orders placed on or before 29th February 2024. Designed by experienced engineers and Ex personnel, the courses aim to provide a fundamental understanding of ATEX requirements.
The two courses that are eligible are:
ATEX 2014/34/EU Overview
An introduction course covering the basic principles of ATEX 2014/34/EU, this course is ideal for delegates new to the Ex industry, or as a refresher for delegates with slightly more experience. The pre-narrated course takes 2.5-3.5 hours to complete, and is delivered in chapters, with quiz sections to test comprehension. An attendance certificate is issued at the end which can be helpful for internal training records.

- Explosion Protection Principles
- Marking
- Working in the hazardous area

Ex QAN / QAR Quality Management Requirements
Designed to provide a general overview of the quality management system (QMS) required to support Ex product manufacture, this course will help delegates to understand and prepare for their ATEX QAN and IECEx QAR audits. The pre-narrated course takes 2.5-3.5 hours to complete, and is delivered in chapters, with quiz sections to test comprehension. An attendance certificate is issued at the end which can be helpful for internal training records.
Content includes:
- Background and purpose of the ATEX Directive
- Relationship of the IECEx QAR and ATEX QAN and release of product certification
- Overview of the content of ISO/IEC 80079-34
- Applicability of ISO/IEC 80079-34 within a typical manufacturing organisation
- Actions required to prepare for a QAN/QAR certification audit
- Information which the audit team may expect to be available
